Extended Trail Riding Program

After four seasons of offering "the greatest horseback riding in the Midwest," we are now embarking on a whole new level of guided horseback trail riding opportunity here at the Kickapoo Valley Ranch!  Most folks have come to know us for our exceptionally responsive horses and some of the most breathtaking scenery, and they just can't seem to get enough of the experience.  For those cabin guests that are looking for a longer ride deep into the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, we offer the following weekday options...

The new Extended Trail Riding Program is offered during the week, generally Monday through Friday, from early May through the end of October.  Depending on the number of riders on a given day, not all trail options are offered every day.  Every effort will be made to accommodate the length of ride that guests will be looking for.  Priority is given to riders on a "first reserve - first serve" basis.  So booking as far in advance as possible increases the likelihood you will get exactly the ride you are looking for.  And of course, all guided horseback trail riding is weather dependant.  For trail riding policies, click here.
