The Little Canada Trail

Intermediate to Experienced Riders - Approximately 4 Hours

The Little Canada Ride leaves the Ranch and heads out into the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.  The ride journeys along the valley floor with views of rock formations on high ridge tops towering around us.  After riding past one of the few open flowing artesian wells on the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, we will ride along a long, rolling ridge top and head down a steady grade through a pine stand that indulges your shoulders with plenty of sunshine.  Load up the saddlebags there are plenty of perfect picnic spots along the way.  The trail will take us along side and over the Kickapoo River on wooden trail bridges, past ponds that are sure to deliver a glimpse of wildlife and the highlight of this ride - the Kickapoo River crossing.  A breathtakingly scenic ride sure to leave a lasting impression.
