The Llamas

of the Kickapoo Valley Ranch...

Wait until you meet this cast of character!!!

With our grand reopening in September of 2010, we decided the time was right to "add to the family!"

And now, one year later, we'd like you to meet the llamas that are with us today!

Delilah is really one of the sweetest creature on this earth.

She is now pregnant & due in early May 2012.

Her "boyfriend" is an spotted Appaloosa so her cria (baby) should be just beautiful!

(And yes, the baby will be for sale!)

HiJinx has also been with us since 2010 and since she provided the Ranch

with our first baby, she will be taking the year off.

She'll have to find a new boyfriend next Spring!

Guests often comment on HiJinx' crazy "looks."

She has one of the worst underbites!

Lola, our newest gal, is also incredibly social.

She too is pregnant & due right around the same time as Delilah.

Because of his looks & confirmation, the same "baby daddy" was chosen!

What a stud!!!

Lola has acclimated well & gets along just great with the rest of our crazy clan!

Truman is our one lone, adult male gelding.

He's still not sure what he's gotten himself into with all these domineering women,

he really just wants to get along.

But he really is quite a "protector."

He's often watching "his girls" from a distance, making sure no harm comes to them!

And he has really been an amazing "uncle" to our newest...

Maximilian Reginald!

The stories we could write about "Little Max!"

His fiber (what you call his hair) is so beautiful blowing in the wind.

He is so inquisitive.

He is incredibly expressive.

AND hilarious!

Sometimes, out of nowhere, he will suddenly "jump out of his skin"

and bolt to the other side of the area.

And please don't ask what he's trying to "do" to all the other llamas -

he's ALREADY acting like a precocious teen-ager

and he was just born in April 2011!

HOPEFULLY he'll grow out of that behavior!

Without further ado... may we introduce you to our crazy aliens... OOPS, I mean llamas!
