Cowboy David's Special Order Bakery
It all began with a trip out west, to a classic dude ranch and a jar full of delicious chocolate chip cookies, free for the taking. When we opened The Kickapoo Valley Guest Cabins in 2003, we knew we wanted to share that same kind of personal touch, that same kind of delicious cookie joy with our guests. After combing through old family recipes, taste testing for weeks and tweaking ingredients to come up with the perfect Ranch cookie, The Original™ Double Chocolate Chip with Walnuts was born!
After literally thousands of requests from our cabin guests over the years, in the fall of 2013, an extensive renovation on The Cabin's Check-In Office began. Just before Christmas, Cowboy David's Special Order Bakery was open for business and the special order cookies and cakes have been flying out the door ever since! We pour our heart and our soul into everything we create and we cannot wait to share our handcrafted goodness with all of you!
Six inch, nine inch, & half sheet cakes are available. Cupcakes by the dozen, too! Cookies are sold in a baker's dozen. We've now added SuperMuffins™, SuperBrownies™, CakeCups™, and even Candied Confections to the list of offerings! This is what heaven is all about. Advance notice is always needed.

Ask anyone who has had the pleasure of experiencing one of these sweet treats, and they will most assuredly tell you "they are absolutely the best!" Handcrafted in small batches and always made to order. Each selection more incredible than last. Perfect for an added treat during your stay or pre-ordered for when you check-out.

Cowboy David's cake adventure began with an old family favorite, made for holidays over the years, here at The Ranch. With the decision made to "start selling cookies," adding a few cakes was a no-brainer. Now, with a massive following, you just have to add one of these gems to your next cabin getaway.
